TIM HEALEYプロフィール

“Tim Healey blows the speakers apart with his trashed out sound, the music is as cutting edge as it can be” DJ MAG (UK)

DJ/producer Tim Healey, the godfather of electro-house, and founder member of genre-busting dance act, Coburn, continues to blaze a trail as an industry mover and shaker in 2010. With killer releases across a slew of labels (from Ultra to Ministry of Sound), awesome bookings and the launch of his second label SURFER ROSA.

Surfer Rosa Record’s are already on their 4th release, and the label looks ready to make as much of an impact as his other imprint: the zeitgeisty GIANT PUSSY RECORDS, which launched in 2009. Between the two labels, Tim has collected tracks from and collaborated with: Felguk, Deekline, Bounty Killer, Fast Eddie, TAI, Nom De Strip, Hatiras, Dirtyloud and Stripper. The tunes consistently chart alongside releases from Deadmau5 and David Guetta. They receive rave reviews, radio play and hit top chart positions across most digital portals, from itunes, to Beatport.

In 2010 Tim has also released with Tomcraft on Taste/d (Real Smooth, and My People), and remixed Hatiras’ “Spaced Invader”. His tune with Deekline, The Mexican was the 6th most requested record on Australian network radio in June 2010, and is currently riding high in global club charts and getting MTV rotation. 2010 also sees Tim working on his new album, slated for release in early 2011.

As a DJ, Tim has toured with and supported artists as diverse as Erick Morillo and The Prodigy, and decimated dance-floors at pretty much every major rock festival in the world, from Reading to Fuji Rock, via freak-fests like Burning Man (USA), and Fusion (Germany). Playing his unique blend of super-trash ghetto-electro and the highest quality-club sounds, he’s no stranger to Manumission (Ibiza), Pacha (Sao Paolo), Matter (London), and endlessly tours the globe, gigging from Tokyo to San Francisco, via Eastern Europe and China. If you want to rock an event, look no further.
