DEAD SEXY INC. BIO
Dead Sexy Inc. started in Hollywood in 2003, where the electropunk french three piece got picked up by Cleopatra Records, Larry Tee and few others key techno rock icons.
After releasing “Break Me” in the US, Germany, France… The band went on intense touring and ended up playing with superstar Miyavi, french N°1 rock band Indochine, Miss Kittin &The Hacker, Vitalic, Vive La Fête… Going over more than 20 countries in the US, Europe and Asia.
After the release of their highly acclaimed second album “Kamikaze” the band signed to China, France, Scandinavia and played such festival as CMJ NY, SXSW Austin, PopKomm Berlin, Printemps de Bourges, Lattitude Festival UK, Minikvas Festival in Slovakia, Black Glitter tour in Japan…
In the winter of 2009, the band released a Manga based on a fiction story of the band with Chinese Magaka Jian Yi and produced a video for their new single “The Simple Things” shot between Paris, Tokyo and Berlin.
Dead Sexy appeared at CMW (Toronto), SXSW Austin again, and opened for 8 new shows opening for Indochine in the spring.
Relocated between Berlin and Paris Dead Sexy will aim for a new album in winter 2012. It has been recorded between Paris and Berlin with Maz (No One Is Innocent, Olivia Ruiz, Benabar…), Thomas Stern (E Neubauten, Crime And The City Solution…) and with collaborations from James Leg (Black Diamond Heavies, Cyril (We Are Enfants Terrible), Sue Combo (Pravda)… And a few surprises

Resident at Le Pulp in Paris, Emmanuel 5 relocated to Berlin with his band Dead Sexy and started the Ich bin ein Berliner Party, he played in most of Berlin clubs inclueding a weekly residence at White Trash, Bassy, CCCP ( Palais Pantera) and many others. He has been listed as one of the upcoming top 10 rock DJ in Berlin.
